Felicity Jones was born in England and is most well-known as the actress who was Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at 12 years old. She's appeared as actress in numerous dramas, TV series, as well as in films. She started her career with the film on television The Treasure Seekers. In the following years, she was on the show as of Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she went on and acted in other movies. In films such as The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2 The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she was a hit for her performance. The role she played on the screen in The Theory of Everything was what earned her her first Oscar nomination. Jones her portrayal of Stephen Hawking's wife in this biopic, which is based on his life, was praised both by critics and viewers. Inferno which starred Tom Hanks was next on her list of credits. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles in recognition of her outstanding talent and contribution in cinema.
